IS2: Target Tracking Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks

Scope/Topic :
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) constitute a significant technology of today, attracting considerable research interest from various disciplines. Self-localization and self-tracking capabilities are highly desirable characteristics of wireless sensor networks. In environmental monitoring applications such as bush fire surveillance, water quality monitoring and precision agriculture, the measurement data are meaningless without knowing the location from where the data are obtained; and then tracking it inorder to take some measures in future. Moreover, target tracking may enable a myriad of applications such as inventory management, intrusion detection, road traffic monitoring, health monitoring, reconnaissance and surveillance.

This session intends to cover the fundamental theories, the state-of-the-art research findings, and experimental studies and applications of WSN target tracking techniques.

IS3: Integrating Customer with Modern Technologies

Scope/Topic :
The biggest challenge before today's business community is not restricted to manufacturing of products, distribution, selling, and generatin revenues rather it has expanded to constant customer service with more facilities. It has become essential for any business organisation to look at the convenience of customer from information regarding product/service, selling, after sale services and maintaining good relations with the customer. Technology is the best answer to these challenges in presnt modern world. Service computing has merged as a new multi-discipline research field that bridges information science and technology and business service and computing needs.

The work scope of this subject includes but is not limited to: business process modeling, services modeling, services creation through technology, services realization, services annotation, services deployment, services discovery, services composition, services delivery, service-to-service collaboration, services montoring, services optimization, as well as services management.

Primarily, the service computing model, system architecture, key software technology, as well as perofrmance assessment methodology are the main topics in this session. The session also includes the methods of creating database for customers, Information analysis, Need analysis, Cusotmer profiling, customer information, customer billing, customer referral systems, customer feedback system, etc.
