Gyeongju is the most famous ancient city in S. Korea with its deep history. As an ancient capital city of Shin Ra Dynasty, the city is famous for its rich historical heritages such as the Najeong Well, three stone Buddha Statues of Bae-ri & Tongiljeon hall, the Seoak Vicinity and the Bomun Lake Resort. The traditions and heritages have survived in the Gyeongju for many centuries. Don¡¯t miss the opportunities to experience diverse attractions in the Gyeongju!

In my last notes, I want to give my thanks to those who have contributed to this conference. This conference could not have taken place without their contribution. Special thanks go to the program chairs Prof. Franz Il Seok Ko and Prof. Park Jin Soo, to general chair Prof. Dursun Delen, to our distinguished plenary speakers and to all participants who took the initiative to organize special sessions. I also present our high gratitude to Dr. Yun Ji Na who provided crucial supports in conference administration and local arrangements.

I really appreciate other key organizing committee members for their excellent team contributions: Prof. Patrick Ma from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Prof. Ling Chen from Zhejiang University. The organizing team could not have operated without the support of Sogang University, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information and Korea Electronics Technology Institute. I also acknowledge the support and guidance from the Administrative Committee of the IEEE Computer Society. Finally, I really appreciate all the reviewers, authors, speakers and participants for their contribution to NCM2008.

Enjoy the conference and enjoy your stay in beautiful Gyeongju!
