A CSCW Architecture Oriented to Textile Industry Integrating with Content-Based Publish/Subscribe System

Abstract  Nowadays, in order to achieve maximum economic benefits, the textile industry in severely competitive market requires information sharing, collaboration, and the rational allocation of enterprise resources. In this paper, we present a CSCW (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) architecture oriented to textile industry, which is distributed, flexible, high performance, and built over a content-based publish/subscription system. On the basis of information sharing and collaboration, the architecture can provide accurate, timely and valuable information for enterprises to make optimal business decisions.
