Following the tradition, IMS2009 special sessions will provide the participants with opportunities to discuss and explore emerging areas of Information Management and Service with fellow students, researchers, and practitioners in special areas.

Call for Workshops
IMS09 workshops will provide the participants with opportunities to discuss and explore areas related to the Theory, Development, Applications, and Evaluation of Information Management and Service with fellow students, researchers, and practitioners. Workshops may concern any topic within the conference scope. The workshop goals are to establish a common understanding of a certain aspect, to share experiences, to foster research communities, to learn from each other, to identify open problems and/or to explore future directions of research.
The primary goals of the workshops are to:
- develop a common understanding of a certain aspect of science
- share experiences
- foster research communities
- learn from each other
- identify open problems and explore future directions of research.
Workshops will be held in parallel with the main conference.
Call for Papers
IMS2009, the International Conference on Advanced Information Management and Service will be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Selected papers will be included as revised monographs in the international journals. For more details, visit the conference web site at http://www.aicit.org/IMS.
IMS2009, the International Conference on Advanced Information Management and Service, is a world-class conference, that welcomes fellow students, researchers, and practioners in the related fields. IMS2009 is a Coorganized International Conference on NCM2009 (http://www.aicit.org/ncm). The conference covers issues related to Theory, Development, Applications, and Evaluation of Advanced Information Management and Service which is closely related to ubiquitous networked computing, the main theme of IMS2009.
IMS2009 builds on the success of previous international conferences and workshops in this series (NMS: Networked Media and Services, HiNMS: High Performance NMS) held in Singapore, Poland, China, and Korea.
